Carrie Vaughn is the bestselling author of a series of novels about a werewolf named Kitty who hosts a talk radio advice show. The most recent and final in the series, Kitty Saves the World, came out August 2015. Low Midnight, a novel in the Kitty universe focused on Cormac Bennett, was released in 2014. She’s also written young adult novels (Voices of Dragons, Steel) and stand-alone fantasy (Discord’s Apple, After the Golden Age, Dreams of the Golden Age), and numerous short stories in various venues, including a 2011 collection, Straying from the Path, by WSFA Press. She is a contributor to George R.R. Martin’s Wild Cards series, and also is a graduate of the Odyssey Fantasy Writing Workshop.
