Courtney Willis

Dr. Courtney Willis (aka Dr. Science) taught physics and chemistry to high school students for 23 years.  Then the cowboys in Laramie gave him a PhD, so he moved on to be a physics professor at UNC in Greeley for some 20 years.  He is now mostly retired and spending more time playing with old sewing machines, fiddling with tubed electronics, and taking up more hobbies. You can usually spot him at cons, trailing after Connie with her still-growing collection of Nebulas and Hugos in tow. Ask him about his growing sewing machine collection, and stop by to contribute Friday to his quilt project or Saturday to sew on it. He will also be talking about When Science Got It Wrong on Saturday.
